We are seeking a motivated and meticulous Experienced Staff Accountant to support our day-to-day financial operations. In this role, you will play an integral part in managing general ledger activities, executing month-end close procedures, and ensuring financial accuracy.

Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Prepare and post journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Month-End / Year-End Close: Own key segments of the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee or assist with bill payments and expense report processing.
- Account Reconciliations: Perform deep-dive reconciliations for bank accounts, balance sheets, intercompany transactions, and credit cards, proactively resolving any discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing accurate financial statements, variance analyses, and ad-hoc reports for management.
- Fixed Assets & Prepaid Expenses: Track, calculate, and record depreciation and amortization schedules.
- Audit & Compliance: Help prepare documentation and schedules for external audits, as well as tax filings.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve internal controls.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA Preferred
- Experience: 3-5 years of progressive corporate accounting experience.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) is necessary. Experience with accounting software like NetSuite.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of US GAAP and standard accounting procedures.
